Pop Idol winner Michelle McManus 'battered with guitar case' in horrific assault: 'He literally tried to knock me unconscious'

The former Pop Idol winner, who is still working in the entertainment industry, took to Twitter to tell her 20.7k followers about her horrendous ordeal – which left her with an injured jaw.
The All This Time singer wrote: “When your life is amazing but then a man you don't know assaults you for no reason. #whatdoesntkillyou xxx.”
